Ingredients
500gmsPork (minced)beef or chicken can be used
1tabssesame oil
2garlic clovescrushed
1capsicum (red)finely diced
1celery stickfinely diced
100gmsbutton mushroomscoursley chopped
⅓cupoyster sauceadd more if you need to
1tabssoy sauce
2Cos Lettucesmall sized lettuce or mini cos variety (see notes)
Instructions
Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add mince and stir fry until browned all over.
Add the crushed garlic and cook for a minute.
Add the capsicum (red pepper), celery, mushrooms and sauces, stirfry until vegetables are just tender.
Add Changs noodles (optional) and stir through to combine.
Spoon onto lettuce leaves and garnish with slices of Spring onions.
Arrange on a platter ready to serve.
Notes
If making the dish for a meal use any kind of lettuce cups you like. Iceberg lettuce is rationally used for this recipe as they do wrap around the filling easily to create lettuce wraps. Larger Cos lettuce leaves work well as they are slightly firmer.
