Homemade Sugar Free Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 3 lemons
  • half cup monk fruit sweetener
  • half cup water
  • 4 cups sparkling water

Instructions

  • Place a pot onto the stove and add the monk fruit and half a cup of plain water and bring to the boil. Allow to cool.
  • Cut and juice the 3 lemons and strain the seeds and pulp.
  • Pour strained juice into a jug.
  • After the syrup has cooled, pour into the jug with the lemon juice.
  • Add 4 cups of sparkling water and a handful of ice and stir well.
  • Add slices of lemon and a few sprigs of mint as a garnish.
  • Serve in glasses with ice and lemon slices and sprigs of mint to add colour.
