Quick and easy basil pesto made with 6 ingredients you'll already have on hand at home.
Finely grate parmesan or purchase already grated and add into a blender, food processor or Thermomix.
Add the pine nuts, garlic, 80 grams of fresh basil leaves, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 150 gms of olive oil.
Blitz till fine liquid consistency.
Pour into a clean jar and store in the fridge.
Use pesto on pasta, as a dip and a topper on roasted veggies. The use for basil pesto is endless.
