Here’s a 5 minute Homemade Mexican taco mix recipe that is simple and easy to make from spices you’ll most likely already have in the cupboard.

Honestly this would have to be the simplest way to create flavours for your tacos and burrito’s.

We use the homemade taco mix in a 500gm sized portion of mince and used mini tortillas topped with avocado, tomato, grated cheese and a kaleslaw for something a little different.

  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Cumin ground
  • 1 tbsp Onion flakes
  • 1 tbsp Marjoram
  • 1/4 teasp peppercorns
  • 1 teasp salt
  • 1/4 teasp Chilli powder
  • 1 teasp Sugar
  1. Blitz in a spice blender till fine. If using a thermomix mill for 30 seconds on speed 9

Feel free to alter the chilli amount if you prefer it a tad hotter.
